S E X Y P I N KA closer look at the Carnival murals of Jackie Hinkson. The focus here is on the typography. Mr Hinkson produces such depth with these already impressive works by playing into and with the themes of jouvert that are easily overlooked by Carnival Tuesday. Mas is supposed to be subversive and raw and he reminds us in these still covid based times that historical references play a part and tell us the stories that we need to be told. -- source link
