Fuze’s Undie Hoard, Part 3This box contains what I call my “Department Store Briefs”, the higher end of the everyday underwear that still comes in packs of three to five. I still don’t wear these, I tried too, because they’re really good quality, but it turns out that this is when I determined that even though they’re nice, the cut was just not for me to wear for everyday things. So if you’re wondering about price, the packs are about two to three times more expensive than what you’d get at Walmart. Luckily for me there are these places called discount stores, where they sell leftover inventory from previous seasons at a much lower price, which is actually just as affordable as buying full price at Walmart. The only downside, is you need to be diligent, and go to as many as you can, and as often as you can, since the inventory is always changing. That and you feel more compelled to buy something, since it might not be there next time. Which is why I spent my weekends going to about 2 or 3 of these stores, just to check the inventory for good deals, and stuff in my size, since that’s not guaranteed either. All the briefs here are all really good quality. Chaps briefs have sizes that are slightly big, so if you’re in between sizes, going down would be preferable. Nautica briefs are also a bit big, but really nice as well. Calvin Klein are also really nice you can buy your waist size and are really comfy. If you feel like you want to splurge on nice underwear, these are not a bad choice.Hilfiger brand though, not so much. They’re alright, but I think they’re outclassed by the other high end briefs. American Eagle briefs are also pretty good, but they’ve been out of season for a while, and just barely coming back. They’ve also got a pretty skimpy cut to em and not a lot of ‘junk room’, so there’s some side-ball action happening there. It’s a thing with most briefs, but more pronounced here. There’s a couple Jockey briefs that are really low cut so it’s not for me either. For an interesting pair I got, there’s the Jockey boxer-brief with extra long legs and a pouch-fly. The pouch fly is actually pretty nice, I don’t hate it. Gotta be careful with boners, but it works most of the time. The long legs though, I learned that there is a 'too much’, and this might be it. They’re like biker shorts, going down to the knee, and if you’ve got thick thighs like me, it’s a bit constricting and kinda hard to pull up all the way. Something different that’s for sure, but I haven’t worn those in a long time. -- source link
