Sometimes, it’s the little things that matter most when we show love to each other, as shown by today’s Collective submission. What is a small but meaningful way you can tell others you care for them? lizhasthoughts: Another thing that didn’t happen this week, and birthday themed again. My junior year of high school, I roomed with this amazing person named Lucy. We became good friends, but we had roommate differences, so we ended up not living together senior year. During my junior year, I put posters ALL OVER the room for her birthday, and it was easy to get done since it was my room too. Senior year was a little harder, but I got a mutual friend to distract her long enough for me to put this up. And Lucy loves Rice Krispie Treats, so I incorporated those into the wall decoration. She ended up leaving it up for the rest of the year (she ate the Rice Krispie Treats and put the packages back up on her wall). Little things like this don’t take much effort but really make people feel good and loved and appreciated. -- source link
