SOOOO I redrew my first ever digital drawing (down right) made in 2015, which I had already redrawn in 2018 (down left). I think it’s really cool to compare and see improvement! Of course some of you may like any of the older versions better than the newest one but I personally feel so much closer to where I want to get as an illustrator and the aesthetic I want to achieve. I do see a lot of improvement in the anatomy, composition and color theory. I’ve also been experimenting a lot with brushes and I know now that clean straight full black lines aren’t for me, I enjoy this rough state a lot more. Lighting has been really fun to learn about too, also movement, clothing, full bodies… Already looking forward to see what I learn this year! :3 -- source link
