It’s the morning of Liam’s Birthday Ball. Hana and Naima are in the palace boutique, looking for something to wear. Madeleine insisted that they wear red for Liam’s birthday. After yesterday, Naima wasn’t concerned in the least what Liam wanted. This stupid ball was her idea and now she could care less. But she knew all eyes would be on the royal family. So, for tonight, she would play the Stepford Queen.Hana: “Come on, Naima. There must be something here you like. You’ve vetoed every dress I’ve showed you.”Naima: “Hana, those dresses were not pregnant friendly. I’d just be sitting there waiting for someone to yell, ‘Hey, Kool-aid!’”She could hear a muffled chuckle behind her. Her shadow was laughing at her.Naima: “That’s not funny.”Yes, it is.Grayson: “Apologies.”Madeleine walks through the door and almost bumps into Grayson.
