Ok so imagine the Secretary from Ferris Buellers Day Off as a Barbarian and that’s pretty much the start of my dear sweet Brunellda Barbarian. A simple farmer’s wife, with her kids off at school and her hubbie Ronnie going back and forth to the city making sales of their goods, Brunellda felt a little stifled by her life but she wasn’t unhappy. Until she made the trek into town one day when Ronnie failed to come home. She found him in the arms of some other broad right there in the town square and plumb beat the Dickens out of him! Well a local promoter saw this, and recognized a talent in this blonde Dwarven lady. He offered her a job engaging in gladitorial combat for fun and sport and she couldn’t resist! (all she had to do was imagine her Ronnie in the arms of that… woman and that was enough to induce a rage!) But you know she’s worked on her bahdy and now thinks its time to work on some other pursuits. Education, travel, broadening her horizons. She still has a lot of spark left in her dontcha know? (anyway I didn’t get to play her but I sure got my minnesotan accent down and WILL torment my party with it. Some day… you betcha) -- source link
