ISSEY MIYAKE: PARIS FALL 2013-14 You know a brand is designed with “FUN” in mind, when it is the only show during PFW thus far, to have smiling models walking down the runway. The designs and colors were indeed happy and pretty, but the smiles made everything look that much better. Smiling is contagious and somehow helps to make the world go round more pleasantly. With that said, the collection was about the world and it’s landscapes, as seen from the sky. Represented through color and pattern, were it’s fields of golden wheat, vibrantly colored flower meadows, the dark green of forests, and the reflections of deep mirrored lakes.
