CHRISTIAN WIJNANTS: PARIS FALL 2013-14 Christian Wijnants presented a very tactile and visually interesting collection of texture, form, and color this season. Recently winning the International Woolmark Prize in London, he shared an fun approach to winter dressing with innovatively sculptured sweater knits, in which he exploited the three dimensional nature of the wool yarns in casual and sensual garments. The majority of his pieces were easy and functional, simple sportswear separates, which he showed in an uplifting color palette of Coral Red, Chartreuse Green, and Tangerine Orange mixed with Ivory, Brown, Green and Black.
