2022 Events Interest Check results are here!Photo text: Regarding the Kaishin Big Bang 2022: 55% of you said you are planning to participate. 70% of you prefer a reverse bang over a regular bang. KSBB22 was ranked #1 most desirable event for 2022.Regarding the Kaishin Secret Santa 2022: 50% of you said you are planning to participate. KSSS22 was ranked #2 most desirable event for 2022.The rest of the events ranking goes as such:#3 One-prompt Challenge#4 WIP Challenge#5 Flashworks Month#6 Kaishin Week#7 Character Weeks2022 interest check outcome:1. There were 61 responses.2. The KSBB22 will be a reverse bang.3. The next event will be a One-prompt Challenge. The details for all potential events have already been worked out, so information about this challenge should be available soon!4. WIP Challenge may happen later in the year if there’s time.Addressing questions and suggestions:Suggestions1. Round-robin, art telephoneThese could potentially be done as a discord-only event and will be taken under consideration for this year if there’s time.2. Gift exchangesDCMKKSE has done a gift exchange every year since 2018! This event was also listed on the form. I think one exchange event per year is enough, since this blog’s focus is doing different kinds of events!3. Autumn/spring eventKSBB ends in summer, however it starts in spring. Similarly, KSSS ends in winter but begins in October. Most of the year is covered with just these two events! Even so, this interest check’s purpose is to crowd source new events so there will be even more coming to DCMKKSE.Questions1. Art concerns/unable to do color artThere is no required ‘level’ of art abilities for any event hosted by DCMKKSE or KSBB, however some events have more requirements than others. For example, the KSSS that just ended just required that artists finish one piece to the best of their ability. But for an event like KSBB, the efforts of the artists and writers should match each other, so a colored work is required.2. Email/SNS concernsThis blog does have an email, however all communication for all sign-up events such as KSBB or KSSS is done via discord, so having a discord and using your discord fairly regularly is a requirement. Additionally, all works must be posted to either AO3 or tumblr, so having and using at least one of those is a requirement.3.
