I’m quite happy with this one. It’s been so much fun to return to these characters more than a decade later with the kids all grown up and the adults somewhat past midlife, with a lot more wisdom and perspective. Their victories of previous books have knock-on effects, both positive and negative, and it’s been fun to imagine how those would play out.It’s a happy accident that Bright Side will be ready for Pride Month.
