wanted to take a crack at introducing my zelda au to tumblr since i haven’t been able to share it publicly anywhere else as of late. i’ve been working on it for almost 3 years and it’s my baby frbut, this is my version of link! his full name is link o’faolain (very on the nose, i know). he’s 31 years old, and has been working under the hylian monarchy for 13 years. he comes from a small farming village in western hyrule, foxfield, which was burnt to the ground when he was 14. courage didn’t manifest on him for another 3 years after this, though the other triforce pieces had already found their hosts by the time his village was ash.the werewolf is something that’s been with him since adolescence, but he doesn’t remember anything that happens while in that state. it’s been weaponized as a political tool by the royal family for years, and everyone is under the impression that it can’t be controlled.he defeated ganondorf a long time ago, putting an end to a war that’d been going on for years and earning him the title of “hero of embers”. he realizes too late that imprisoning ganondorf may have been a mistake. -- source link
