newlifeahead: As a musician and a submissive I see very little difference between the need to play music to perfection, or to submit. Both good music and submission come from a deep place in the soul. A place where, were I to deny either, would be a betrayal of myself. To create the music in it’s perfection, I learned long ago, I need to be aware of the notes, be guided by what is written, but the only way to make the music come alive, is to relinquish control, and trust it to take you where you are meant to go. A true musician understands this. It matters not how old the instrument is it’s truth will always be there and will come alive if you trust it and yourself to float to your bliss. In submission, I have done same. Trust is always at the center of both actions. By relinquishing my control . I am realizing my truth. I am a submissive, I am a slave. In service, I am.
