peacemaker-ic: So I got access to the new kits courtesy of the EA Creator Network (yes, it’s been rebranded hence the new watermark, and really for the better IMO), and for the most part I like the items for men. Decent clothes I will actually use (my favourite is the patterned Henley, just wish there was a version without the necklace as well). I am all for more useable, unique items for the guys and these do feel different from items we have gotten. Also great to see other styles from around the world being introduced that aren’t Americanised, and don’t necessarily fit into other packs and their corresponding themes. But there is a caveat. Will I use them? Yes. Do I think they are necessary for gameplay? No. Should you buy the Kits? Only if you really feel you will use them, otherwise it’s a pass. Kits to me are not essential, and really work best for themes that wont fit elsewhere and are a bit more niche. For PC players these are really not as appealing with our access to amazing CC creators, but I think for console players looking to get a bit more range, this is for them (but really, they should have access to CC too). Don’t feel like these are a ‘must-have’ kit, it’s purely optional. Korean or Indian streetwear not your thing? Don’t give into the FOMO and feel better about saving a bit of money on items you wont use. -- source link
