I love parallels and imagery and video games that wound me deeplyI finished Disco Elysium a couple days ago, and my God. It might actually be the best game I’ve ever played. You can really tell a lot of love was poured into it. So I did my best to do it justice.For this piece, I tried doing a few things differently. The shading and color is in a bit more of a dappled, painterly style to mimic the look of the game. Then the smoke, the sky, and the lungs have that shimmery effect just ‘cuz I thought it’d look pretty. I also tried mimicking the blue color palette of the church and Dolores’s portrait. The one thing I regret is not incorporating the phasmid somehow. -- source link
