It’s My Little Monday!With…G3 Proto Pony Project!Every so often another of the “Pony Project” photos show up, and this is a case of that, but it’s more unknown than usual. As you can see, this is another of the “Giant G3s”, but it wasn’t given to an artist for the charity project, it seems to be something Hasbro itself did. Here, it is seen at a convention. (Photographer is unknown, title is unknown, where is unknown) Why did they make it? Was it going to be turned small and used as a convention exclusive? The intricate design resembles a bit of the style for the Black/Blue one or maybe a bit the ‘dandelion’ convention exclusive G3s. The color, a good magenta bordering on a bit of burgundy, resembles a bit of Cheerilee/Sakura, especially with the dark pink/light pink hair blend. Notice that her eye doesn’t use black, it’s just all pinks/darker pinks. There are hidden shapes among her designs. You can find a hot air balloon, a butterfly, a tea pot, a strawberry and her heart shape seems to be an abstracted lady bug (it has a face) She’s really interesting to see, so one must wonder what happened to her if she did not get to be part of “The Pony Project” ? She is highly likely to be one of a kind. (But who’s that next to her?) This is certainly an interesting (and uncommon photo) to see. -- source link
