After returning to being human, Jim struggles with his form and the part of him that wishes he was still a troll.This could happen with or without ROTT, but I imagine this scene specifically after the timeline reset. Jim is visiting Strickler’s office when he sees the masks. He impulsively puts one on and takes on the illusion of his troll-self. The weight of his horns is familiar and it’s almost comforting to be able to grasp them, grounding himself with the feel of them. When he hears Strickler approaching the office, he snaps the mask off. There’s a pit in his gut from the loss of his form.Later, he bribes some goblins to steal one of the masks from Strickler. -- source link
