i love love love concept art/worldbuilding and the incredible raya concept art (mingjue helen chen + ami thompson + everybody else <3 ) was what first started my hyperfixation! (and motivated me to get back into art!) i fell in love with the worldbuilding they did behind the movie and i feel like we missed so many opportunities to explore it more :’) so i try to relive that through art.here’s a lil thing i did a while back! it’s raya exploring some abandoned village, real moody and rainy. i wasn’t comfortable drawing people back then but good thing the back of raya is ez to draw!!going forward i’ll post a mix of both environment/character art! i love environments but ALSO rayaari - can’t forget that!! hope u all appreciate -- source link
