Here’s my Applejack redesign!She now has a more earth toned palette and a lot more freckles. more on my redesign under the cut- Applebloom does aj’s hair, that’s why she has all the braids and the small pony tail. Her hat is one of a couple that she wears when working on the farm. I never liked the orange and blond so, I did the mixed earth tones. Overall I just wanted to her to look very approachable and friendly.- After aj’s parents died, granny smith was the sole person in charge of the farm and really the only one that could do proper work. So she had to find some way to sustain the farm that didn’t involve putting 3 now parent less children to work or moving a bunch of strangers onto the farm. This resulted in a joint partnership with the neighboring farms in ponyville and granny smith hiring a few family members to help out on the farm. Now there is back story and others characters that will be seen on the farm, aka more plot/story.- A few years before Twilight moves to ponyville Applejack finds Fluttershy wandering into the everfree forest. She immediately tries stopping her but quickly looses sight of her and gets lost, fluttershy finds her and guides her out with the help of her animals. This results in aj learning that fluttershy travels all the way to ponyville to visit the animals in the woods and applejack builds fluttershy a house she can stay in while visiting. Fluttershy refuses to let applejack do this for free and for a stranger no less, so she starts helping out on the farm.Feel free to share any headcanons or redesign ideas on her that you might have! -- source link
