The forfeit for losing the bet had been two laps around the building butt naked. The boys weren’t about to back down in front of their mates, and the first lap had gone easily enough. Apparently a cop had seen the streaking past, though, and now a squad car was sitting between them and their clothes.They wanted to wait and hide for the cops to go away, but the hubbub was drawing the attention of the other tenants in the apartment, and soon the block would be swarming with people. If they waited any longer, the whole building would see them naked.
