Here’s my Rarity redesign!She is now an earth pony and more purple than before.more on my redesign under the cut- I made her look like this because I didn’t want her coat to be white so, purple it is. The yellow eyes come from her fathers side; her father is now an earth pony. I gave her horseshoes as well, because she travels in rocky areas getting gems for the outfits she makes.- Rarity has a business partnership with pinkie’s family so she can get gems from the rock farm. This started when she got her cm on a field trip, I will go into how she got her cm in another post. This means she has now known pinkie since they where young. The business partnership didn’t start that way obviously because she was way too young for that at first. It changed though when rarity thought she was taking too much from the pie’s and wanted to start sharing the earnings she received from her clothes. The pie’s didn’t accept this at first because they didn’t want any charity but then did when rarity proposed the business partnership.- Being an earth pony it’s a lot harder for her to sew than it would be for a unicorn, however she is very dedicated to the craft and enjoys sewing. She is still slightly bitter though so, on the side rarity tries inventing ways to make it easier for earth ponies to do things that unicorns can do in seconds. I made rarity an earth pony for this very reason, I wanted her to be someone that could kick twilight off her seat of privilege and give her a new perspective. I also made her an earth pony as a contrast too applejack who is a stereotypical earthpony.Feel free to share any headcanons or redesign ideas on her that you might have! -- source link
