[Images are two variations on the same digital painting. Both have a mountain made of shimmering blue crystal, on brown soil, with an orange sky. There is a little blue bird perched on the edge of the mountain, pecking at a small hole it has chiselled into it. The shape of the Tardis is vaguely visible inside the mountain. The scope of the mountain is not visible to the viewer, as it disappears offscreen. In the first image, circular Gallifreyan is shown on the brown soil below the mountain. It is laid out left to right, with a line above the words to connect the punctuation. The Gallifreyan is in a scratchy brush, in a light brown colour. The second image has the same Gallifreyan, but arranged in the more traditional circular shape. It is much larger and takes up the whole image rather than just the dirt. It is in also light brown, but in a less scratchy texture to make it more visible across the varying background colours.End] I finished another piece of Sherman’s Gallifreyan art! I did two versions this time, one with the normal circular shape and one with a linear style. It says “I think that’s a hell of a bird”, from the end of Heaven Sent:“There’s this emperor, and he asks the shepherd’s boy how many seconds in eternity. And the shepherd’s boy says, ‘There’s this mountain of pure diamond. It takes an hour to climb it and an hour to go around it, and every hundred years a little bird comes and sharpens its beak on the diamond mountain. And when the entire mountain is chiseled away, the first second of eternity will have passed.’ You may think that’s a hell of a long time. Personally, I think that’s a hell of a bird” -- source link
