muthacreepchronicles: Fashion never sleeps! Someone is always looking for a new, refreshing look to stand out against the crowd. This generation has taken fashion into their own hands by customizing their own looks and getting into the art of design. This summer the craze of vintage thrifts became popular among the young fashionistas but it didn’t stop there. Who knew adding some bleach spots and some holes to a vintage band tee would create such a audience that even the well-known would copy and add to their collection? However, every great idea has to come to an end. In this situation the look became obsolete too soon. Furthermore, what can possibly stand out to a look that became so sought-after? Look no further because a young Cali designer by the name Shane Gonzales has created something I believe will be the look of this Fall/Winter. As I was doing my usual lurk through Instagram I came across this aesthetically pleasing page by the name @tsukasa_cherry. She is a fashion blogger from Japan who’s outfits are too dope to put into words. This is where I discovered Shane Gonzales line, Midnight Studio, who had collaborated with Off White in a recent collection. Vintage hockey crew necks are split down the middle then sewn onto another crew neck giving this new look of clashed colors and mitch match. The idea of placing two logos side by side with no desire of matching astonishingly looked perfect together. Not only experimenting with sweaters, t-shirts are also in this collection, something new and refreshing. This collection has only been sold in pop up shops. Hopefully I will see more of this surfacing the streets. original edit: 9/29/16 -- source link
