Dear @staffSince your new rules are just about to become a reality, I need to share my thoughts with you.The picture is of me. I have, to honor you rules, covered my genitals and my very dangerous female nipples with some very friendly and harmless male nipples. What do you think is going to happen to you if you saw my nipples? Are you afraid that I will shoot lasers out of them?Your statement is that you want Tumblr to be a safe community for artists to share their art, without being scared of seeing a dangerous, naked human body. (In my opinion the people who feel bad about other naked people, could just find another Tumblr blog to look at. I personally don’t like pretentious shallow abstract art, but I don’t need a rule to ban it. I just don’t spent my time on it)Now I’m not calling myself an artist, but I know a lot of people are calling the stuff I share, on my other Tumblr blog, art.My question to you now is: Who is this all knowing being who decides what is art and what is not?Cause surely it must be a human being, and not a robot deciding this, when it comes to such a subjective thing as art.And one last thing.. I am so sad to see that you are now becoming another mindless, discriminating, exclusive social media where it’s no longer possible to express yourself whether it is through the porn or art you don’t approve of.Feel free to reblog, if you also feel saddened, angry and affected by Tumblr’s new way of handling things! -- source link
