No-one Loves Me". This piece was made while thinking about creating forms over the body that convey the affects of mental illness on the mind and body that can’t be seen. The feelings of ‘constriction’, sense of ‘colours’ and 'forms’ inspired by the brain. Plus cage like shapes to signify the emotive cell we can retreat to but also get trapped in when we feel isolated. Images and embroidered text are also inspired by the drawings and text by participants responses from a questionnaire conducted in 2017 by myself on the theme of participants discussing their own experiences of living with a mental illness. -- source link
