07/09/17 - I was recently reading a design blog that described drop shadow as an ‘amateurish & tacky’ design trend to be avoided at all costs. What more invitation did I need to incorporate it extensively into my next design?Of course it depends what you’re trying to achieve - here I was hoping to make it look like I’d been clipping images out of magazines to build the poster & make something summery that would allow me to forget the rain beating against the window. -- source link
