fuckyeahgoodomens:fuckyeahgoodomens:Some of the subtle clues that Aziraphale and Crowley switched bodiesBonus - not so subtle anymore, where ‘Crowley’ is sitting prim and proper and ‘Aziraphale’ kind of lying on the bench (plus their reverse sitting position)Bonus 2:Bonus 3: We usually see Aziraphale under the sign E (east), but ‘Aziraphale’ under the opposite W (west)updated with Bonus 3 :)Aziraphale in the East.Crowley in the West.I vaguely remember from arts class that the most holy part of a church, the choir, is often located in the East. The East is associated with sunrise, the sun is associated with the Good or Jesus Christ. The choir is especially richly decorated and it is the “main stage” of the church and the place where the clergy resides. While the East is rounded, the West of the church is build more sturdy, like a castle, with mighty towers. The West is the place where the sun goes down, so it is necessary to be vigilant against Evil at the Western side. It is more associated with wordly power and it is the place where wordly leaders might take seat (on top balcony above others) and where court (judgment) took place. (It is necessary to note that not all chruches are built this way, but it is pretty common.)For more information look up “ecclesia triumphans” and “ecclesia militans” and in architecture “choir” and “westwork”. -- source link
