uprootedficathon: Feel that chill in the air? It’s time for the Uprooted Holiday Fic Exchange 2019! A fic exchange is a little different than a normal ficathon; think of it like a non-holiday-specific Secret Santa fanwork exchange. Everyone will fill out a form detailing what kind of fic they want to write and what kind of fic they want to read. I will match up all of the writers so that everyone writes one fic and everyone receives one fic. The fics will all be revealed at the same time with their authors anonymous. Registration Deadline: Wednesday November 27th Assignments Given: Sunday December 1st Writing Deadline: Saturday December 28th Fics Posted Anonymously: Monday December 30th Authors Revealed: Monday January 6th A few more general points: You will be able to sign up as a writer, a backup writer (in case someone can’t complete their fic), or both. My goal is to make sure that everyone gets a fic. The submission deadline is absolutely a hard deadline. No sneak peaks this time! We want to keep everything a surprise.
