fixing-bad-comic-art:(sorry if im too talkative, its ok to trim it down!) i found a crop of the snakewoman on @bad-comic-art, and someone made their own fix but i thought i could make something more interesting with a few shapes, and that the torso was probably not working for a punch pose. when i looked into who the character was for more ideas i found the whole page, and what a mess!  its just so boring, lazy! some underwear and armor slapped on. looking the characters up their story sounds so interesting, an alien vampire from a dying planet? fighting cults and hell dimensions? it sounds like something id read! but looking at this id just pass it off. i started reading vampirellas (the snakelady) original comic and a reader letter mentions being a 10yo girl and not being scared of the story, so her outfit really had no plot significance other than to sell. it makes me mad, the art and story was already fine on its own. in targeting the horny boy demographic they alienate a larger, more varied one. the outfit i put on the first vampirella is based on what she had when they first attempted the story, which was cornier than what they ended up going with, but i liked the outfit. nyx gets a gambeson, and i took the squigle from the underboob cutout to be the neckline of a fashion corset for snakerella plus a bat hair clip, and just filled in the gaps for starship trooper vampi. hire me dynamite entertainment submitted by @coolthnghere -- source link
