Bunker Hill, Los Angeles, c. 1968 - Photo by Herb Agid. Bunker Hill Tower (1968), 800 W 1st St., “The Castle” (c. 1890), 325 S. Bunker Hill Ave., and “The Salt Box,” 339 S. Bunker Hill Ave. The two mansions were saved by preservationists, and relocated to Heritage Square Museum in Montecito Heights in March 1969. Both were destroyed by fire 10/9/69. -- source link
