beardsbootsbreeches: Occasionally I notice some attention to this blog by people who collect pics of nazi uniform replicas, swastika armlets and flags, codes like „88“ or „white power“ symbols. I must admit that this really confuses me. I do know that sexual desires aren‘t always politically correct. If you are into power exchange games (like I am), and the intimidating cut of these uniforms is the most effective way to turn you on, that‘s fine with me. But is it really necessary to put the swastika or the skull and bones to it? Those symbols remind us of a historical time when power abuse and violence were very far from being a sexual game. They were real. If you don‘t really need those symbols, just don‘t use them. Or be at least considerate enough not to show them in public. Many people who have suffered violence and hatred of the worst kind in that time are still alive, and so are their relatives and friends. It will hurt them to see the signs that propagated injustice, racism, brutality and death in a context of sexual lust. They are not something to play with. By the way, gays were killed in those days too, remember? If your sexuality is only triggered by hints to a fashist or racist ideology, that‘s probably something you can‘t change. Go ahead and do this with some people who are also into it. But, be aware that when you bring this to the public, you hurt people. You can fuck or jerk off in your own room staring at a „white power“ banner or a swastika flag if you like. But if you bring this into public without caring a single minute about other people‘s feelings or even worse, if you really mean it in a political way, then you‘re not a fetishist, but just an insensitive asshole. -- source link
