Unpopular Opinion.Not only do I like the concept of the Rowdyruff Boys, I prefer their OG Designs to their design circa seasons 5-6. It makes me sad that fan harassment has caused Craig to loath the Rowdyruffs because I feel they have a lot of potential. Sure they just boil down to “Boy Bad version of Girl,” which was very prevalent in the late 90′s early 2000′s, but they could be more than that. At their core they’re a trio of superpowered delinquents in need of some real character development.In the right hands, you could easily make them have a good rivalry with the Powerpuff Girls. It could be a lot of fun watching them cause mischief. Heck, I could see them becoming reformed with time. After all they’re only kids, and they haven’t exactly had any good guidance from birth to resurrection and after. I always appreciate fan endeavors that try to give the Rowdyruff Boys a sense of identify and a strong story, rather than just making them generic bad guys or shipping fodder for the Powerpuff Girls. -- source link
