girlcrushtoday: I know I’m taking a risk with a bunch of these photos of Stefania Ferrario. Tumblr probably won’t like them very much. Because tumblr doesn’t really like women very much is what it comes down to. And Stefania Ferrario exudes a woman-ness that is intense. Standards of beauty come and go and change and vary by culture and all of that. And it does kinda seem to me that we’re in an era where a larger diversity of beauty is celebrated (to an extent… don’t get me wrong, it’s still quite a cluster), but there’s something about the way Stefania looks that feels classic and timeless when it comes to womanly beauty standards. I could see her being the most coveted model ever back in the days when the only portraits were painted ones. Who wouldn’t want to paint such a goddess? Or sculpt her? Like, Michelangelo’s David is awesome and everything, but if Ms. Ferrario had been around in his days, I think it’s very possible that famous sculpture would have been called Stefania instead. I mean, would I like to see a 17 foot tall sculpture of her? Yes, I would. Maybe with the boots on ;) My girl crush today is Stefania Ferrario. -- source link
