ms-demeanor: quiltails: “Wrinkly/Irony” by Connie Kincius Griner of Burlington, North Carolina. Inspired by the joke frequenting the Internet describing “irony” as being the opposite of “wrinkly”, this whimsical quilt brought a smile to many faces in Houston. She used improvisational piecing and textured fabric to create the wrinkly side, opposite of the smooth fused applique and machine piecing of her “ironed” side. Very fun and unique!
