harrypotterconfessions:If you think about it, it kinda makes sense that the Dursleys abused Harry. We now know that he was a horcrux. Being around one turned the Golden Trio into hypersensitive assholes after a few months, imagine what 10 years would be like. And this is on top of the fact that they were already horrible people who hated him at birth. I have at least a little sympathy for them because of the mental tricks Voldemort’s soul played on them. It certainly exacerbated their already nasty behavior. If it was harrys fault then after a few months ron and hermione would begin acting weird. His friends were never affected by him being a horcrux, thus the durselys had no excuse.  -- source link
