D I A N A A V E R Y ● Seventh Year ● OPENFC: Arielle Kebbel | Affiliation: Neutral | Endgame: Up to PlayerEver since her beloved sister Tatia moved out of their family home, Diana’s elders have been incessant in reminding her that she is their last hope of restoring their family name amongst the Circle; that she must pledge her allegiance to the Knights of Walpurgis and do their family honor by becoming a Lady. In such discussions, Diana merely smiles and gives a semblance of a nod before excusing herself from the room to flee such conversation. It is not that Tatia is far braver than she is, or that her younger sister is more confident in her beliefs than Diana is; Diana keeps secret about her beliefs that Muggles and Muggleborns are just as equal to Purebloods for her sister.By keeping mum about her opinions that align with Tatia’s, Diana gave her sister a chance to free herself from their suffocating family. Of course, the two of them could have left together, yet although her family was adamant in their beliefs, Diana still cared about them. Her parents. Her grandparents. She did not want to crush all of their hearts by having two of the Avery daughters leave home, even though her heart sang to leave the confining walls of the mansion just as much as that of her sister. Now approaching the age of seventeen, Diana is pushing her Initiation to the very last minute- which extremely worries her elders, especially after having one ‘disgrace’ to the family already. The pressure to become Initiated increases as every day goes on; the blonde Slytherin practically receives an owl a day reminding her to be Initiated from both her parents and grandparents. She feels torn in her routes for the future, however. She feels duty bound to her family to become a Lady of Walpurgis; yet everything within her screams at her to join the Order of the Phoenix with her baby sister. To fight for her beliefs and her beliefs alone, not her family’s.When not contemplating her course of action, Diana Avery is known to be the spunkiest Slytherin to ever grace the school’s halls. Her friendly smile is always in place, and her cheerful attitude is one that even fellow Slytherins cannot ignore. Diana lights up the room with her presence, her laughter ringing loud and is often the heart and soul of a good after-Quidditch or after-Ball party. A lot of the Pureblooded heirs seek after her, as they believe she is the perfect wife for the future. Over the years, Diana has learned to gracefully deny their requests, simply flirting for her own amusement and to distract herself from the problems that loom around the corner.Main || Plot || Characters || Rules || Application -- source link
