witch-of-habonim-dror:Ring for Shabbat, East Europe, 18th century. The stone bears an incised menorah resting on a pedestal, and a Hebrew inscription: “To light the Sabbath candle”. The ring was probably a gift to a woman in order to remind her of her obligation to light the candles or to glorify her for her devotion in fulfilling the mitzvah. -- source link
