That’s why when one of the scientific team proposed to him to try a new untested drug he agreed. They told him it was 99% ready and that Karen would be really impressed by his dedication.Well, for John, the 1% not ready quickly became a major issue. As he entered his cubicle he felt horrible and passed out. When he woke up he was no bigger than half an inch tall. He panicked and decided the best solution was to try to reach Karen’s office where she could help him out. After 6 hours of cautious walking against the walls, he finally found himself in front of Karen’s desk.She was on the phone and as much as he tried to contact her, he was just too small. Therefore, he decided that having no other solutions, he had to touch her and make her feel he was down there. He then carefully approached Karen stiletto-clad feet and focused on reaching her right foot. He was so terrified that she’d move her feet slightly. That simple action would be the end of him. Finally, he got on the high heeled shoe and went to her toe cleavage where she could feel him. As he knelt to touch her skin he was attacked by the strong smell of sweat and leather emanating from between her toes. He fought that and as he was about to touch Karen’s big toe she moved her foot. John lost his balance and fell in the putrid shoe. He stayed in there for another 3 hours using the curve of her toes as a safe place. Sweat accumulated around him and he finally stuck to Karen’s skin. That’s where Karen’s found John. Between her toes as she was relaxing. She sat to get a closer look while maintaining her foot steady and gasp at the view in front of her. She immediately recognized John thanks to his clothes.“John is that you? How did you get so small? What happened? And how the hell did you find yourself here?”John explained everything and after his tale, Karen got herself comfortable again.“So you took the medicine and it just happened? Well, maybe this bunch of idiots can be useful… John, I’m sorry for you. I imagine it must be kind of hard to be so small. I could just end you by pinching you with my toes. You must be scared. In the meantime, you’ll live in a world where everything can kill you. What I propose to you is to keep you and protect you. But as you’re too small to work you’ll repay me by doing whatever I ask you to do. Is that fine with you?”John was uneasy with this. On one side he didn’t want to be his boss’ slave but on the other side he was still stuck between her toes and she could kill him for the hell of it. “I’m sure it’s a deal, John. You couldn’t refuse such a kind offer. Well, John to thank me you can start by licking my toes. They were very sweaty in these shoes. Now be a good boy”John was seeing her smile at him. He looked back at her toes several times bigger than he was. He quickly did the math and resigned himself to it.
