But the idyllic chain of islands in the Pacific Ocean is also home to fascinating relics from World War Two and some of the conflict’s most significant battlegrounds. Some of the relics left behind by US and Japanese forces have found their way to a shack in Munda, on the island of New Georgia, where Barney Paulsen has put them on display after finding them in the jungle.
