Literally have not stopped thinking about this sequence of events for days, Alphinaud is audibly excited as he requests your assistance and when you get there his request is “be my arm candy while I talk to politicians about the Doman refugees, I enjoy talking with you”. That line about the WoL’s “sparkling repartee” could be taken as sarcastic given his curtness, the fact he later sends them to talk to some people on account of their silver tongue, it really comes across as no, Alphinaud really does consider the WoL to be a smooth talker.How am I supposed to go through this and not lose my mind.
