Warning long post. Mind the silly sweaty excited look on my face and my messy donga! But I’m actually really happy at the moment! As someone who has spent a good portion of the last 5 years always having a weight based goal, it has been very weird for me the last 18 months sitting about 4 or so kilograms below what was my ultimate goal weight. For the past six months I’ve felt a bit lost. After losing nearly 60kgs and almost half my body weight I didn’t really know what to do without having that number on the scale to aim for. I stopped exercising as much, my eating habits got really bad and I was feeling pretty down in the dumps and a bit lost. Gotta say a massive thank you to The worlds most amazing boyfriend for pushing me to try Kayla Itsines and encouraging me to chuck the scales out, and just focus on eating better and working out CONSISTENTLY! Happy to say I’m giving up on the scales, the number on the scale goes up and down, but from now on I’m just going on how I feel.
