PRIORITIES You come to me and you want to make changes in your life. Sometimes you want to lose weight, sometimes to get rid of the pain, sometimes to become stronger, sometimes more flexible, etc. Usually you think you need motivation, and you ask me where you can get some. That’s how I know you’re in the beginning of your journey to change. Surprisingly, it’s not motivation that you need. It’s more about commitment, prioritizing, and making small choices. Every day you’re making small choices that define your tomorrow, and tomorrow defines your future. You tell me you want to lose weight, and yet you’re making same food choices and eating the same amount of food. So how on earth am I able to help you, if you’re not helping yourself? Or you come to me with back pain and tell me it hurts. And you don’t have time to dedicate at least 15-20 min of your time to the exercises that can help you to have less pain tomorrow and forget about pain in the future. How can I help you if you don’t have time for yourself? How can I help you if being healthier is not your priority at the moment. Yes, you’re concerned about it, but it’s not the priority, otherwise you’d be able to find some time in your schedule, or start choosing more veggies and fruit instead of processed food, eating more protein, and drinking more water. Look at the things you do right here and now, and you will see your priorities.
