Anne Glover (b. 1956) is a Scottish biologist. She served as Chief Scientific Adviser to the President of the European Commission, and was a professor of biology at a number of Scottish universities.In 2006 she became the first Chief Scientific Adviser for Scotland, a role she had for five years. She is a Fellow of the Royal Society and a Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire, among other honours. -- source link
