from-palestine:This woman was falsely portrayed as a suicide bomber by media outlets.“Sadly this isn’t the first time that an innocent person’s photo has been published and linked to a “terrorist act”. This young man’s family were targeted by news media and their nightmare went on for much too long. What is worse is that the young man had been battling depression and had committed suicide prior to being wrongly accused as on of the Boston Marathon Bombers. It was only much later that police found his body washed up by a river in the Boston area. No apologies were ever given to the family nor were there any stories published by the media who had falsely linked this young man as one of the bombers. One of our Canadian television stations ran the family’s story and it aired here in Canada not that long ago.”Linda Goodell -- source link
