eremobates: Tree shrew skeleton, drawn in pencil and scanned and inverted in Photoshop for an X-ray look. This is a real skeleton in the anthropology lab at school, there is also a Tarsier skeleton (started below) but drew the Tree shrew instead. There is a lot of neat real specimens in the lab but since I’m not a student anymore I won’t be able to go back, but I felt drawing the Tree shrew was important since it’s used in anthro courses as a model for early primates, there’s still debate as to whether or not Tree shrews should be included with primates. -- source link
