Great brunch place inside @thedriskill hotel 1886 Café & Bakery. •Brazos Huevos Rancheros: two sunny side-up eggs, local chorizo, tostadas, salsa roja, pinto beans, country potatoes, avocado, pico de gallo, cotija cheese, sour cream •Texas Shaped Pecan Waffle: fresh berries, banana, pecans, mixed berry jam, whipped cream, powdered sugar •Turkey BLT: shaved turkey breast with bacon, lettuce,tomatoes, avocado, swiss cheese, chipotle mayonnaise, croissant. •Helen Corbitt’s Cheese Soup One of the pioneers of classic Texan Cuisine, Helen Corbitt served as the Culinary Director of The Driskill Hotel in the late 1950’s and later as the Head of Culinary Operations at Neiman Marcus, The Driskill prepares our version of her classic recipe. Everything’s was so good, but my favorite ones were the Turkey BLT and the cheese soup. Have you ever been here?
