We often conceptualise ADVENTURE as adrenaline fueled explorations - those ‘once in a lifetime experiences’. I disagree. At it’s heart, an adventure is a wide-eyed exploration into the unknown. And whilst foreign lands and landscapes may be suitable 'unknowns’ - you don’t need to travel thousands of miles to explore them. I’ve been to some seriously incredible places in my life, seen things I’ll never forget, but I’ve realised that the answers I’ve found there, atop of mountains, amongst forests and below the seas… can also be found in daily activities. You don’t need to GO anywhere to explore yourself, to explore life. In fact, do the opposite, and you’ll find hidden treasures you didn’t know you were looking for. - George -- source link
