The Pentacle: In true Wicca, the five points represent the five elements: earth, air, fire, water and spirit. The upward-pointing star is a representation of the triumph of the spirit over matter and earthly desires. This is a protection symbol. 2. The Triple Goddess: This represents the 3 main points of a (traditionally) woman’s life; maiden, mother, crone. This is mostly just a loving caring symbol, not exactly feminine!3. The Witch’s Knot: The four loops were designed to point in all four cardinal directions so that they protected the occupants from evil intent from every point of approach.
