orcinus-ocean: Here’s a Deinotherium I’m working on now, with a reference image I’m using. I’ve developed a lot in both digital and traditional sculpting over the past couple of years, and am not going to update my old tumblr page on it, but focus more on Instagram and am going to make a business out of it, mainly traditional (clay) until I have good 3D-printing or other uses of the digital sculpts. But meanwhile, I’m doing digital sculpting for practice. It’s less frustrating than clay, because I can rotate it any way I want (without worrying about smudging stuff I’ve already done), symmetry (until I turn it off), and I can leave a file for months without touching it, while the clay would be near-ruined at that point. -- source link
