journal 025 | 12.16.19♪ | movement | hozierI found this photo of myself from exactly a year ago at a Les Mis production my mom and I went to.  Completely lost in the magic of the atmosphere (per usual), staring up at the painted ceiling of the old theater… ah how I miss that theater.  The Fabulous Fox is where I saw Wicked for the first time as well.  I’ve been so fortunate to see so many musicals.  A highlight was seeing Phantom of the Opera in New York City.  Time completely stopped during “Music of the Night.”Anyway, back to the journal post at hand.  I had a wonderful first day of break!  I got up, went to work out (that didn’t go so well- I’m out of shape!  Oh well, I know it’ll get easier) and then headed to Walmart to get supplies to bake cookies.  I made light lemon cookies and peanut butter dark chocolate cookies.  They are so delicious and I’m so proud of myself!  The whole experience was relaxing and rewarding.  I’m going to make more deserts before break is over for sure!Tonight I had an audition for a symphony.  I got in and the conductor said he’d put me in first violins too!  If you’ve been following me for any amount of time, you know I currently live in Phoenix but am an Illinois native.  We’re not sure if we’ll be staying in Arizona for much longer due to my dad’s job.  So I’m not sure if I can take this job or not :/ I really want to, but I’m not sure if I’ll still be living here for the performance.Hope you had a lovely day!  My family from Illinois comes into town for Christmas in a few days and I couldn’t be more excited to see them <3  Talk to you all tomorrow :))-  -- source link
