loveofafangirl: Where I Want to Be [Baron Zemo Masterlist] [Marvel Masterlist] Pairing: Baron Zemo x Reader (no gender, race, body type given) Synopsis: You’re busy doing some things around the house but can’t wait to spend time with Zemo. *Fluff* Word Count: ~750 A/N: I started this almost 2 weeks ago, but I haven’t had more than a few minutes here or there to work on it due to family emergencies. As sad as this is going to sound, I honestly spent all day trying to find 5 uninterrupted minutes to proofread this to see if it makes sense and I was unsuccessful even with that. But I’ve decided to post it as is. I apologize for any mistakes or errors. Not beta’d. You move about the house purposefully, attending to the last few tasks on your to-do list. You pass by the living room; Zemo is lying on the couch, his nose in a book. Your lips curl at the sight of his peaceful state. You love seeing him like this—relaxed and carefree. Between missions and memories of his past, it wasn’t always easy for him.  You amble past him, pausing momentarily to allow your fingers to tousle his hair. The silky strands slip softly through your grasp.  His gaze meets yours, his eyes illuminating at the sight of you. His mouth opens to speak, but you stop him. “Shh,” you breathe. “Keep reading, my love. I’ll join you soon.” Your fingers glide through his hair once more, and you continue on your way.  You proceed with your tasks, stealing glimpses of him as you can.
